A Jewish marriage is a contract marriage. A Jewish bride accepts ring from a man after she accepts all the terms and conditions of marriage. “ Chatan”, a form of declaration is made by the groom while giving the ring to his bride. The couple gets joined by holy matrimony in “ nissuin ceremony”, under the “chuppah.” The climax of a Jewish wedding ceremony is the drinking of wine by the groom and bride.
